In August 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the NASA Earth Sciences & UW Hackweek 2024 in Seattle, Washington. This workshop was a fantastic experience that brought together passionate individuals for collaborative coding. We worked extensively with NASA datasets, including ICESat-2, and had the chance to engage with many brilliant researchers in glaciology and earth science.
In this event, we worked on a project titled “Grounding Line/Zone Delineation Using ICESat-2.” This project is still ongoing, and we are excited about the progress we are making. Overall, the Hackweek was a valuable chance to learn, collaborate, and contribute to important scientific work.
